What is the difference between references and records?
References are your library. They contain the fixed information about your operation: your fields, growers, equipment, and crop varieties. You build them once and Tellia uses them every time someone logs an entry. Records are your logbook. Every call, voice note, and message your team sends becomes a structured row in the right workspace automatically.
What if Tellia doesn't recognize a field name?
It will show up in orange instead of green. That means Tellia flagged it as something she doesn't recognize yet. Click the green checkmark next to it to add it to your references. From that point on she'll recognize it every time. You can also add synonyms to any reference so Tellia recognizes both the official name and whatever your team says out loud in the field.
What if there's no signal in the field?
Tellia stores your entry on your phone and sends it automatically as soon as you're back in network. You don't have to do anything. It just sends.
Do I have to tell Tellia which workspace to put my entry in?
No. Tellia reads the context of what you said and routes it to the right workspace automatically. The workspace description is what makes this work, so make sure each workspace has a clear description. Tellia generates these for you when you create a workspace.
Can I take photos in the field and attach them?
Yes. When you add a voice note on the map, you can attach photos at the same time. You can also send photos through the chat.
Can multiple team members use the same account?
Yes. Each team member has their own login but they all share the same references, records, and calendar. The only thing that's private to each user is their chat history.
How do I create a report?
Go to Messages and ask Tellia in plain language. For example: give me a scouting report summary for all fields at Oakfield Ranch for the past two weeks. Tellia will generate the report in the chat. Click the green button to open it in the Reports section where you can edit, download as PDF or Word, or send directly by email.
Can I import data I already have in Excel?
Yes. Drop your Excel file into the workspace assistant and Tellia will create the workspace and populate it with your existing data automatically.
