About Tellia

Tellia is rethinking how farms interact with software. We’re building a Voice-First AI Agent that helps farmers capture and process their field data using natural language. By combining cutting-edge speech recognition, LLM orchestration, and agent-based AI systems, we aim to make agricultural data more accessible, accurate, and useful. All without requiring farmers to sit at a desk or touch a screen.

We’re building a new software paradigm tailored to the real world, voice-native, highly contextual, and capable of working in the field.

We’re backed by Entrepreneur First and Transpose and building in partnership with large farms in the US and Europe. Join us early and help define the technical foundation of the company.

The Role

We’re looking for an intern to join our founding team and help us benchmark and explore the best voice AI technologies available today. From transcription engines to speech synthesis to real-time conversational agents, you’ll test and compare what works, and what doesn’t, for real-world field conditions.

You’ll also support product and design initiatives, help prototype ideas, and contribute to keeping projects organized and moving forward.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in the code base (Frontend React, Backend NestJS)
• Benchmark available voice AI tools (transcription, speech-to-text, real-time agents)
• Compare APIs and open-source models (e.g. Whisper, Deepgram …)
• Evaluate latency, accuracy, and offline performance across different setups
• Help with project coordination and tracking (Notion, GitHub, etc.)
• Support user testing and feedback loops with farms and testers
• Contribute to product research, wireframes, or early prototypes
