California based | Full-time
We're building the voice-first operating system for agriculture. Right now, farmers and agronomists are drowning in field data they can't act on. We convert messy voice notes, photos, WhatsApps and iMessages into structured intelligence that actually drives decisions.
We're hiring our first sales hires in the US. This is a ground-floor opportunity at an early-stage company with real traction and high autonomy. We closed an oversubscribed seed round in December 2025 and are backed by Revent, Entrepreneur First, Techmind and Grey Silo. You'll join a small team with a presence on both sides of the Atlantic and work directly with our CEO to build the sales motion from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle in your market, from discovery and demo through to signed contract.
- Own your accounts beyond the signature. Handle initial onboarding and stay the primary commercial relationship as the account expands.
- Build and expand pipeline. Work existing leads while consistently generating new opportunities from high-fit accounts.
- Maintain a clean, well-forecasted pipeline with clear visibility into stages, timelines, and risks. You know your numbers cold.
- Build trusted relationships with farm executives, GMs, field managers, operations leads, and the advisory firms and cooperatives that shape buying decisions.
- Represent Tellia at industry events, trade shows, and on-site client visits.
- Work directly with our CEO on pricing, positioning, and how we scale.
What we're looking for
- An established network of grower and advisor relationships in your market. You can name 15 to 20 contacts who would take a meeting with you on your reputation alone.
- A track record of selling software or technology into agriculture, where you had to win net-new budget and sell consultatively. A strong ag network paired with a proven consultative closing record can stand in for direct ag-tech experience.
- Proven track record closing five to six figure ACV deals with multi-stakeholder buying committees.
- Deep understanding of how farms and ag organizations make purchasing decisions.
- Experience selling to advisory firms and cooperatives is a strong plus.
- Comfortable running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles independently.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
